The path to becoming an artist is often filled with many questions... Which school fits me? Who will guide me? Where can my art truly grow?
Too often, these answers feel hidden.
Aspiring Young Artists was created to be a light on that path. Through voices of professors, mentors, counsellors, and students from around the world, this platform offers guidance, hope, and connection so every young artist may discover where they belong and step forward with confidence.
Every young artist begins with a question: Where do I belong? The path toward studying art can feel like wandering through a vast, unlit gallery with rooms full of possibilities, yet no clear doorway to step through.
Aspiring Young Artists was created as a light for that journey. Out of the struggles, doubts, and endless searching came the vision of a place where young artists could find guidance, encouragement, and hope. Here, voices from around the world, from professors, graduate students, counsellors, fellow dreamers, share their stories and experiences. Their words are not maps, but lanterns, illuminating different directions so each artist may find their own way.
This is more than a website. It is a gathering of dreams, a bridge between uncertainty and clarity, and a reminder that you are not alone. Whether you seek a university that nurtures your style, a teacher who understands your vision, or simply reassurance that your path is worth walking, Aspiring Young Artists exists to walk beside you.
Because every artist deserves not just a place to study, but a place to grow, to belong, and to shine!

Ian is not only a student of art, but he is a seeker of meaning, a builder of bridges, and a storyteller of his generation. Currently pursuing his studies at Faith Lutheran High School in Las Vegas, he walks a rare path where fine arts, science, fencing, and service meet. From early on, Ian discovered that art was more than personal expression; it could be a force of empathy, healing, and transformation. His works reflect this belief. Sculptures made from recycled materials, installations that wrestle with perfectionism and suffering, and photographs that capture fleeting human truths all serve as mirrors, inviting others to pause, to feel, and to wonder. His first published book, In This Moment, You Shine, blends poetry, art, and photography into a meditation on adolescence and identity, offering a voice of honesty and hope to fellow young people navigating their own storms. But his vision reaches beyond himself. He dreams of a future where art is not confined to museums or studios but actively woven into the life of communities where creativity raises awareness for the environment, brings comfort to the elderly, empowers children, and reminds society of its shared humanity. Through projects like his Environmental Awareness Club, his upcycled installations, and this very platform, Aspiring Young Artists, Ian hopes to make art a living dialogue between people and the world they inhabit.
